THE PEOPLE

Adventure Legends sprouted through the efforts and passion of Garwhal native Manish Joshi. Looking to disrupt the general trend of adventure camps, Manish used his vast first-hand knowledge to create a new experience, pioneering a wave in adventure tourism.
From a very young age he has gone above and beyond all his endeavours. Manish achieved several world records early in his life, designing and constructing a man-carrying microlite aircraft and crossing the risky Khardungla pass (the highest motorable road in the world) on his Enfield Bullet well before the age of twenty, making him the youngest to do so.
This infatuation with adventure encouraged Manish to take paragliding lessons in Germany, an experience he sought to replicate in the beautiful hills of his home town of Pauri Garhwal. Thanks to Manish’s herculean effort, Pauri has become a cornerstone for para gliders around the world.
Adventure Legends offers travellers that same opportunity to foster their own passion for adventure and the outdoors, be it through paragliding, trekking, rafting, or mountain biking.
